The article in the journal »NATURE communications »– »Atribacteria cell membrane structure« was made on a cryo TEM electron microscope from JEOL, on the model CRYO ARM 300 ,
using Cryo tomography.
Cryo tomography is one of the advantages of JEOL CRYO ARM microscopes along with the OMEGA filter and Phase Plate.
The article focuses on a bacteria called “Atribacteria” from the hot springs of Yellowstone Park in the USA and solves the mystery of this triple and unique membrane structure.
