Slovene scientists first in the world proved the connection between ZIKA virus and Microcephaly

On 10th february 2016 was published the article Zika virus associated with Microcephaly in magazine The New England Journal of Medcine, where it was first published that the slovene scientists from Medical faculty in Ljubljana have confirmed the connection between the ZIKA virus and Microcephaly.
Among other instruments they used at their research also transmission electron microscopes from company JEOL model JEM 1200EXII and JEM 1400Plus.
